An EPC is a certificate that will provide the energy rating of the building from A - G, where A is the most efficient.

By law you must have an EPC if you are:

• selling your property,
• building a new property,
• renovating or modifying your property, or
• renting out your property.

So Mc Glone and Mc Cabe are going green, from May 2010 Mc Glone and Mc Cabe Estate Agents have a fully accredited Energy Assessor as part of their team who can provide this service in a professional, fast and cost effective way!

The assessor will inspect the property, take measurements and gather information on the building such as:

• type of construction,
• heating system,
• lighting, and
• secondary heating.

We will then produce your certificate which is valid for 10 years and give you some low cost measures to make the home more energy efficient. Along with this we will provide payback schedules on any improvement works recommended.

You will receive your Energy Performance Certificate within 3 days of the assessment to guarantee compliance as soon as possible.

The Assessor will also provide free energy advice along with the survey to reduce bills on oil, gas and electricity.
